A. REPAINTING OF ST. JUDE CHAPEL

Last September 09 and 10, 2005, 15 members of the Knights of Jesus, Lord of the Divine Mercy Council 12757 volunteered to repaint St. Jude Chapel at St. Jude Subdivision, Novaliches, Quezon City.

The walls outside the chapel had never been painted since its construction in 1978. The Knights worked the whole day of Friday and Saturday to finish the job just in time for the coming Sunday Mass. An Anonymous donor donated an initial fund of Php5, 000.00. The total project cost was Php11, 000.00 for materials and the members provided labor.

The repainting not only brought life to the chapel but also to parishioners as well. They saw the need to repair and replace the leaking roof using the small fund they have.

B. INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS

The first activity for the year is the Installation of Officers for Columbian Year 2005-2006. It was held last 10 July 2005 at North Olympus Clubhouse poolside. District Deputy Constantino Degisica with his wife was there to install the officers.Grand Knight Nick Amosin officiated the oath taking of the Service Program Directors of the Council.

Officers from the neighboring Councils graced the affair. Fellow Knights who attended the occasion brought their family with them. Celebration of the Holy Mass opened the affair. The installation and oath taking followed. Wining and dining culminated the event.

For an opening salvo of the Council, we will be launching the "SIGNATURE FOR A CAUSE" on 04 September 2005. The kick-off will will be during our sponsored Mass.
